Getting Started - The Process
Please email me at klbirks@gmail.com with your contact
information: Both of your full names, wedding date, time,
and location.
Once I receive your email, I will call you to set up
either a Zoom appointment or a personal appointment,
whatever you prefer, for the initial consultation.
During this consultation, I will address all of your
questions
as a wedding officiant. After confirming me as your
wedding officiant, we will then confirm the date and a
$100.00 deposit. Once the deposit is received, I will
send you a document with several ceremony options from
which to choose. You are free to alter them or use your
own.
Fee Schedule
My fee is $375 including the $100
non-refundable deposit paid as a downpayment to secure your date.
If your ceremony is a
simple
elopement or home wedding with less than 10 people,
the fee is $325, with the $100 Deposit. If your wedding
venue is outside the Sacramento region, please see the
mileage schedule below. The $100 deposit is included in
the price above.

Originally we had hired a different officiant who then
subsequently moved out of state so we had to find
someone else. All I can say is, everything happens for a
reason as I can't imagine our wedding without Ken having
officiated. He was very kind, professional, and caring
at our first meeting. We were so impressed that he took
the time to meet with us and chat with us beforehand. He
has so many options to choose from to make the ceremony
truly one of a kind. And we love how he gave us a copy
of our ceremony so we'll have that forever to look back
on. Highly recommend Ken's services!
